Community safety

A useful climbing community, looked after.

Shared sites, sections, routes, wall photos, comments, updates and leaderboard entries must be useful, lawful and safe for a mixed community.

The standard

Respect the place

Access advice must be responsible

  • Do not present dangerous instructions as verified safety guidance.
  • Use the venue, landowner or emergency services for immediate danger.

Respect the record

Make route information trustworthy

  • No spam, deceptive grades or misleading route information.
  • No commercial promotion disguised as community knowledge.
